"We aren't saying Putin has made a decision...we are saying we have a sufficient level of concern" to evacuate US Cits and raise this level of urgency.

From what I'm told, many US allies including the UK share this dire assessment.

US forces deployed in CEE are meant to reassure and deter Russian aggression in NATO territory, NOT to fight in Ukraine, Sullivan clarifies and underlines.

One of the forms that the Russian attack could take is a "rapid assault on the city of Kyiv."

Sullivan repeats that the US and allies still believe the Kremlin will attempt to invade on the basis of a false flag attack, such as scenarios declassified by the US and UK governments.

TL;DR if they do it, don't buy it.
