A wonderful Sunday evening with Ar. Gayatri Khatau along with her project head Ar Khadija who took us on a guided tour of one of their restoration projects- a 107 year old house 'Vasundhara ', an enigmatic blend of brick arches and stone walls, at Ryewood,Lonavala
The tour began with a 2 min silence in memory of Bharat Ratna Late Lata Mangeshkar ji .
We thank Mrs. Meenu Singhvi and her husband , Mr.Nitin Singhvi , the proud owners of this heritage home , to have given us this wonderful opportunity.

The evening was followed by an interactive talk, at Ar. Gayatri Khatau's house 'Aangan' . We thank Gayatri and her husband, Mr.Anand Khatau for their warm hospitality.
The objective of the forum was to encourage sustainabe architectural practices, Net zero carbon policy through various sustainable alternatives,in Lonavala ,a town mushrooming after the pandemic and it is a tourist hub, a hill station conveniently located between Mumbai and Pune
We thank Adv. Tanu Mehta for volunteering to join us fo this walk. It was a motivating speech by @TanuLine highlighting the issues of Lonavala and how we , with 70 member architects , can make a positive difference!
