Court of Arbitration in Sport have ruled that Kamila Valieva will be allowed to compete at #Beijing2022 but it's complicated - she may have any medal taken off her after the Games and investigation continues.

CAS director Matthieu Reeb: "We've decided to let her continue her participation and no provision suspension will be imposed on the skater. The athletes should benefit from the following exceptional circumstances, she is under 16 & a protected person under the WADA Code."

Basically, Kamila Valieva will skate - and almost certainly win - Olympic gold on Thursday. She could lose it weeks, months, maybe even years, later in a legal court.

Her short programme starts in 28 hours. I'd watch.
