A grim reminder to what we face as a nation ! #ShaheenBagh was initiated just before the first wave hit . Just as the world was hit by a wave of cases we had half of New Delhi blocked by protestors protesting a legitimately passed bill by a democratically elected parliament . 1/n
Global media and their lap dogs in India ensured that it was a celebrated event . Remember the “ Shaheenbhag Dadi “ ?What was forgotten was that the protests were orchestrated and organized with full support of the ruling government in Delhi . This was followed by the violent 2/n
#DelhiRiots2020 . Entire opposition again played with the lives of citizens of Delhi and once again the ruling government MLAs and leaders were found complicit and has been convicted by the courts . No global media highlighted this nor pinned blame . The only person they 3/n
The anti India narrative is full on all over the global press actively supported by moles inside my nation . India is a vibrant democracy where opposition is out to get the ruling party at all costs . We have governments of ruling and opposition in various states . 1/n
Unless they collide as a team , the numbers cannot be fudged . The anti PM Modi conglomerate is so strong that they are all busy amplifying the tragedy of anything . Effectively rag piece networks like CNN and BBC are doing that along with Chinese and US lapdogs in India . 2/n
The positivity and mortality still remains among the lowest in the world . But the sheer weight and density of the population makes it look spectacular when it explodes in this way . The so called developed nations like USA , UK , Germany etc are still struggling 3/n
A donkey was tied to a tree. *One night a ghost* cut the rope and released the donkey free.
The donkey went and destroyed the crops in an adjacent farmer's land. Infuriated, the farmer's wife shot the donkey and killed it.
The donkey's owner was devastated at the loss. 1/n
In reply, he shot dead the farmer's wife.
Angered by his wife's death, the farmer took a sickle and killed the donkey's owner.
The wife of the donkey's owner got so angry that she and her sons set the farmer's house on fire.
The farmer, looking at his house turned into ashes,2/n
killed the wife and children of the donkey's owner.
Finally, when the farmer was full of regret, he asked the ghost as to why did it kill them all?
*The ghost replied, "I killed nobody. I just released a donkey that was tied to a rope*. 3/n
I have always believed . In every crisis lies an opportunity. The second wave of the pandemic has been brutal and exposed many fault lines in our society administratively and exposed incompetence at various levels both among governance and citzens . All of us are culpable 1/n
In many ways . The US stopping raw materials to India , the western media swooping in lien vultures to feed on our dead , our own star journalists plummeting to new depths in journalistic ethics .. But most of all so many ppl good and bad got exposed in multiple ways . 2/n
We clearly know who our friends are and who our enemies are . The biggest enemy in my opinion lies within each and every Indian. Our reluctance to follow the law and an innate dislike for anything to do with discipline. If only all of us had masked up . If only all of us had 3/n
Pizza hut, MacDonalds , KFC , Pepsi, Coke etc etc have benefited from the massive indian market and it's consumers .Today @POTUS has stopped delivery if raw material for creating life saving vaccines based on commercial interests. He has hurt one of America's biggest market.1/n
One more case to support #AtmanirbharBharat . Indian citizens should understand how various countries place business interest over everything else and develop and support own brands . An American is tuned to always support his own brands at all times. Nothing wrong 2/n
But what boggles my mind is the brown indian minds obsession with "foren" brands. I am not calling for any boycott but make a pledge to support indian businesses and entrepreneurs. Else , we will continue to be treated as a dumping ground and captive market. Needs to end. 3/n
