Ukraine can meet the food needs of 600 million people!

▪️Europe's 2nd’s and the world’s 4th largest natural gas pipeline system;
▪️3rd largest in Europe and 8th largest in the world in terms of installed capacity of nuclear power plants;
▪️3rd placed in Europe and 11th in the world in terms of rail network length (21,700 km);
▪️3rd placed in the world (after the U.S. and France) in the production of locators and locating equipment;
▪️3rd largest iron exporter in the world
▪️4th largest exporter of turbines for nuclear power plants in the world;
▪️4th world's largest manufacturer of rocket launchers;
▪️4th placed in the world in clay exports
▪️4th placed in the world in titanium exports
▪️8th placed in the world in exports of ores and concentrates;
▪️9th placed in the world in exports of defence industry products
▪️10th largest steel producer in the world (32.4m tons).

Intel launches blockchain chip to tap crypto boom

Intel Corp on Friday launched a new chip for blockchain applications such as Bitcoin mining and minting NFTs to cash in on the rising usage of cryptocurrencies.
The chip will ship later this year and the first customers include Block Inc, the Jack Dorsey-led firm that recently changed its name from Square Inc to highlight its growing focus on the blockchain.
Intel said its chip is an energy-efficient "accelerator" designed to speed up blockchain tasks that require huge amounts of computing power and thereby consume a lot of energy.

Uber considers taking payments in crypto

The head of Uber Dara Khosrowshahi said during an interview that the company considered buying bitcoins, but abandoned the idea because Uber wants to keep its funds safe and not engage in speculation.
At the same time, he said that Uber is considering possibility of accepting payments in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The company is ready to add such method of payment, if it proves as convenient and useful for the company, drivers and users.
Khosrowashi also explained that Uber doesn't want to accept cryptocurrency just for the sake of advertising itself.
Interesting fact: In November 2021, Uber announced that it starts accepting marijuana delivery orders in Canada.

Binance invests $200 million in Forbes news publisher

Binance Holdings Ltd. has made a $200 million strategic investment in news publisher Forbes.
Forbes agreed to go public last year through a merger with SPAC Magnum Opus Acquisition Ltd.
