@StringwallApp Reza Zarrab intentionally visited the US and surrendered based on a plan, according to Amir Abbas Soltani, a fmr Iranian lawmaker and fmr member of the parliamentary committee tasked with pursuing the Babak Zanjani case. Zanjani is imprisoned and sentenced to death
in Iran for siphoning oil billions. Soltani claims Zarrab is “the black box” of Zanjani’s case. Soltani says that following Zanjani’s case in Iran, Zarrab thought he would be captured by Iranian officials if he stayed in Turkey.
According to Soltani, Zarrab knows there is no extradition agreement betw Iran and the US...the reason he decided to go to the US. "He’s waiting to see when it will all blow over to and what will happen to Zanjani.
