Since we're on our own now that "let Covid rip, have another dose of Pfizer & shut up!" is official US policy, I'm starting a master thread of things we peasants can do to better arm ourselves.
Here's everything Google Scholar has to say about the quercetin, zinc and vitamin C combo:

Thread of vaccines other than MRNA we must demand officials/FDA make available!

I just found this tape to seal N95s.(Disclosure: I'm an Amazon affiliate as a book blogger so this is my associate link & I would earn a few cents if you made a purchase. I can't get a regular link off my tablet without deleting the app)

Got someone with Covid in your house? You don't have to catch it. Here's a great threat on how to avoid:
Dropping this here to remind all of you, no matter what the country, CDC and state governments say about dropping masks... they WORK.
Find free or sliding scale Covid tests:
I don't think I added this about CUTE safety glasses from Zenni optical -- some are not a tight seal but all offer better protection than nothing. Each member of my family has a prescription pair:

Early in the AIDS crisis, there was a lot of argument about HIV. My own gynecologist told me that "straight people have nothing to fear" and that it was a disease that "only took hold in drug addicts and promiscuous gay men who abused their immune systems."
There was Very Serious Discussion on the news about HIV being "an innocuous finding." That AIDS was an unknown "kind of cancer." That "Those with good immune systems should clear the HIV virus." I watched friends DIE as it was downplayed. Don't get me started on Reagan.
For a time folks thought only those w/evidence of acute infection (usually a weird, blotchy rash &/or fever) were at risk of progression to AIDS. As some inexplicably took a LONG time to progress to full-blown AIDS, some insisted "a good immune system!" prevented AIDS itself.

So this is how we are explaining Covid's lingering blood clotting problems and heart damage in even mild cases...

Fizzy drinks.

"Major warning as popular drink could trigger 'sudden cardiac arrest'"

People leading the US Covid "response" are at best almost unimaginably ill-informed and at worst corrupt. Authorities dismiss/obfuscate mounting evidence that even mild Covid causes widespread vascular/organ/brain/immunological damage, often silent until a catastrophic event.
Those running things are like shady contractors working with no permits, ignoring building code and insisting workarounds are just fine. They're like mechanics who disable the dash "check engine" light instead of fixing the car.
The public is being hoodwinked. We don't "have the tools" for a constantly mutating virus. Our vaccines don't stop infection/transmission, monoclonal antibodies are scarce & many now ineffective, Paxlovid is scarce, w/8 pages of drug interactions & contraindicated for many.

Got news an old friend in mid 50s had a stroke.

Ideal weight. Low BP & cholesterol. Runner. Organic food/supplements.

He had Covid in January.

Every week I hear of another PE, DVT, heart attack or stroke. Better change "Living with Covid" to "Getting blood clots with Covid."
I'm shaken up.

More and more folks are reaching out to say they went for post Covid physical and were alerted to potential issues that may have presented as serious events. Mostly blood clotting, blood pressure, cardiac and blood sugar issues.

Please, if you can, see a doctor after Covid. ❤🙏
I don't spend most of my spare time tweeting Covid info because it's so much fun to be called a fearmonger. 🙄 I really want folks to be okay.

In time, post-Covid effects will be common knowledge. I'll post a thread below that has some good testing recommendations in comments.
Linked in comments of this thread: official guidelines, anecdotes and several doctors chiming in with suggestions. Talk to your doctor for advice. Be well, y'all. ❤🙏
