The #Furia was completed in 1976 & taken to Brands Hatch for testing
It performed as intended clocking up just 15 miles
Returning home to be parked up where it remained until now while it’s creator was pre occupied building the family home

The alloys, like everything on the #Furia were designed & made by the owner who happened to own a metal alloy foundry for a yacht building business!

As we started to pull the #Furia from its resting place & the weight moved off the flat spot on the tyres the sidewalls gave up & the tubes started to exit 😱
After a few feet the brakes stopped dragging & freed off

With a bit of effort we finally got the #Furia onto the trailer😎
Giving that left rear tyre a wide berth!

While attaching the ratchet straps to the RH wheels there was an enormous BANG & the Left rear tube popped, allowing us to then safely go near it to put the final straps on

With a bit of manoeuvring the #Furia leaves it’s resting place, watched over by the son of its creator
I have the enormous responsibility of being the new custodian & want to restore the car so that it can be displayed & it’s remarkable story told
