Great. A showcase notice from GST three years after I closed the business operations. Don't even recall the username to log in to check what it is all about.
Ah, yes. This will be opening up a lot of litigations nation wide. Receiving notices for time period July 2017-March 2018, when the entire GST was still filled with issues. This will be fun. 🤦‍♂️
* showcause.
And this was literally the main reason why I closed that business (There were many not this major ones, as well ). The site was so glitchy that there were bound to be errors in filing, and there was no way of correcting or checking other party filings at the time. 1/2
In 2018, we received a VAT notice pertaining to 2011 because of clerical errors in filing. Thankfully, that notice fell from potential 5 lakhs+interest payout to 10,000. We let it be after that. Wasn't worth the fight, though state didn't provide any evidence for their claim. 2/2

A vast horde marches across a continent to invade Africa.

Cities of ancient lore fall, as the new masters of Africa wreak havoc on its former rulers.

An Empire finally reaches its end.

A dynasty that set in motion creation of three nations.

Another dynasty that reunited a peninsula.

A region that gave its name to a Kingdom, Duchy and a County.

A tribe that started it all.

Gundobad is believed to have been born around 452 to Gundioc, King of the Burgundians. He has also been recorded as the nephew of Flavius Ricimer, a Roman general who dominated the affairs of the Western Empire in mid 5th century. 1/10 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gundobad#/media/File:Gondebaud
A Germanic tribe, the Burgundians had migrated into the Roman Empire crossing the Rhine in 406. Around 443, they were settled around Lake Geneva and became Roman foederati. But they were just one of the many Germanic tribes in the region and had to compete for space. 2/10 https://cdn.britannica.com/44/1044-050-A36E58D3/invasions.jp

A dynasty will have strong and weak rulers.

But when the ruler is weak, they may get usurped by stronger contenders.

Or see their position strengthen, as a consensus of stronger subordinates.

And then at times, both happen.

Story in the evening ...
Grimoald was born around 615 to Pepin and Itta. Not long before Grimoald was born, Pepin and other Frankish nobles had conspired with King Clothaire of Neustria to remove the child King Sigebert of Austrasia and Burgundy and his regent, Queen Brunhild. 1/10 https://artsandculture.google.com/asset/portret-van-grimoald
With the help of Pepin and others, King Clothaire reunited the Kingdom of the Franks. Initially, Pepin's associates obtained prominent roles in the Kingdom as Mayor of the Palace, while he retained influence on the King's son, Dagobert. 2/10 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlothar_II#/media/File:Divisi

A fragmented Kingdom with warring Queens.

An infant Prince who becomes King.

A King who reunites his nation, only for it to be broken up again.

Story in the evening ...
Clothaire was born in 584 to Chilperich, King of the Franks, and Fredegund. Not long after his birth, his father was killed, making Clothaire the king of the part of the Frankish realm that he ruled. He had inherited the smallest of the three Frankish Kingdoms - Neustria. 1/10 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlothar_II#/media/File:Clotha
In 561, Clothaire's grandfather and namesake had died dividing the Frankish Kingdom into four. Chilperich, who was the youngest, received a Kingdom around Soissons, which contained the core area that the senior Clothaire had inherited in 511. 2/10 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlothar_I#/media/File:Le_roya

Theudelinda was born around 570 to Garibald of the Baiuvarii (Bavarians) and Waldrada of the Langobard (Lombards). The Bavarians were a Germanic tribe that was associated with the Franks, another Germanic tribe, to their west. 1/10 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodelinda#/media/File:Theode
Around 555, Garibald had been named the Duke of the Bavarians by the Frankish King, Clothaire. It was around the same time Garibald married Waldrada, who had earlier been married to Theodebald, King of Franks at Reims, and later possibly Clothaire as well. 2/10 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baiuvarii#/media/File:Bairisch
