Putting a list together of what I experienced in my time as a member of a small Pentecostal group (I refuse to call it a church). There will be multiple pages...

My hair was dyed blonde & permed. I was told (by the pastor & "elders") that was vanity in its worst

Form as I had done this purely for attention from men.

I was told my skirts/dresses had be 3inches below the knee & anything more than a kitten heel was walking the line of being a prostitute. Only women with NO morals wear high heels... for male attention, ofc

My tops/shirts/dresses weren't to be sleeveless & nor should the neck be more than half an inch under my collar bones.

When I go off for a smoke, I cannot be with a member of the opposite sex UNLESS another female is there. This is promiscuous behaviour.

I was told that unless my friends are of the church, I had to get rid of them. They're sinners & Satan will be using them to tear me from Jesus & God.

THEN the bug one... 10% of my income HAD to go into the collection EVERY TIME I ATTEND! 3 x a week. I worked it out...

I was 18 & a single mum with no job. It was nearly $200 a f/night they DEMANDED off me. They SAID that is what God EXPECTS & needs. I asked to see where in the bible it says 10% of your money. Of course, they couldn't show me that.

The pastor, his wife & 5 church "elders".

Every time they "lay hands & pray" over some one, the "holy spirit" would over come the person & they would... kind of like "pass out". This is meant to be Jesus & his power working in & thru you. Right, now, for months,

When ever I'd go up for the pastor to "lay hands" & shit, I never "passed out". They would ALWAYS leave me til last & the entire church, abt 35 ppl, would all be praying for "the power of Jesus to enter me, fill me, heal me & make pure in the eyes of the Lord"

The pastor would have one hand up in the air, the other on my forehead. Pushing. Like, really pushing. I'm not going down coz you're pushing me. I'll go down if I really "pass out", but not coz I'm being pushed. EVERYONE would be yelling at me to let Jesus in,

To let the "holy spirit" take over me. A few weeks b4 I left, I played along to see what would happen... I layed on the floor, pretending & listened to them talk about how exactly they could free me from the INFESTATION of demons I was clearly suffering with...👀

I was late for service one day coz I wasn't well. I had 2 friends going with me to check it out & see if they were interested. While we singing, I started to feel like I was gonna pass out. Told my mate I need to sit. Elders saw & demanded I stand. Said I couldn't coz I'm

Not well. A man & a woman grabbed an arm each, another person wlkd behind me & grabbed me under my arms. They forced me to my feet. My friends filled me in on some bits coz I was nearly passing out. I was in agony in the sides of my back. Someone called out to the pastor

That I needed prayer. The whole church crowded around me praying. They TRIED to push my mates away from me, they refused. They said everyone was "casting demons out of me". They told me that all of a sudden my eyes rolled in my head & the edges of my lips went grey/blue

At that point (This abt 20min after I sat down), my mates BF grabbed me saying I needed the hospital. He was yelled at & a few even started yelling AT him "you have no power here Satan! This is a house of the lord! In Jesus's name be gone". They both somehow managed

To get me to the car & sped the whole (massive) 5 min drive to the hospital with me going blue & trying to scream & cry. So the "church" said I was "under attack" by Satan & he was making it LOOK like I was sick when I actually wasn't. The staff at the hospital, however

Told me I had a severe kidney infection & they were keeping me in over night at least. I didn't stay, but that's a whole other messed up drama & nothing to do with the "church". I was on really heavy antibiotics & pain killers for the next 3 or so weeks (it was persistent)

They maintained it was Satan & his demons & not anything medical💀.

I had an argument with the Pastor over Dedicating my Daughter. He wanted her Christened as a Pentecostal Gospel Fellowship member. I said dedication is fine, coz she will decide for herself when she's older

They performed exorcisms on me. Twice b4 I FINALLY bloody left. Now, it was nothing like what you see on the telly. Except for the Holy Water. I drank a bit when I was alone

This "exorcism" consisted of casting demons out of me & saying "If you feel the need to cough or sneeze, do it, that's the power of Jesus working to cleanse you". I didn't feel

Kind of growl in them. They LOVED it! They said they could HEAR the demon fighting & growling. I was doing WONDERFUL & the demons was so scared of my faith in God. They said I was cured of smoking... first thing I did b4 we left?🚬

A member of a church, just like the one I have described, is running the country.
They do not believe in climate change.. that is actually The 2nd Coming of Christ... didn't scumbum say on 60m he believes in that?🤔 And women are doomed to suffer as penance for committing

The first ever sin. ANY suffering of a woman is to remind her of that. That's what I was told about my severe period problems. Turns out I was actually riddled with Endometriosis & Adenomyosis.

Sorry for the length, but y'all need to know. They ARE dangerous!

Oh yeah, & they told me that the "donation" for my Daughter's dedication was $200. My Mum had to pay half coz they didn't mention the amount until the day b4 the service!!!
