We should understand that each of these IP laws speak of a limited monopoly. What things are kept secret? We should ask that fundamental question. Why is that some of these entities keep something a trade secret? - #RahulSingh #NonPersonalData

My fundamental problem with the NPD framework that you may end up rules that undercut the objectives of the NPD framework which also happens with the competition law. - @shrutiajimurali #NonPersonalData

The report says we want to solve for public value but doesn't establish what public value is. We need to unbundle that because it allows the government free hand for acquiring data for public value. - @KapoorAstha #NonPersonalData

With respect to mandatory data sharing when there is public value, it's good to remember that the idea of public interest is an unruly horse, it's difficult to get on or to control when to get off. - #RahulSingh #NonPersonalData

There are entities and mechanisms where data is traded. Bloomberg is a good example. The entrepreneur who has put their effort in creating product would be left clueless. - #ViswanathPingali #NonPersonalData
