Which is not the same as writing a bit of entertaining science-based fiction that tells a story about a world.
Design Fiction is a design-based practice where objects imply an adjacent world.
Science-based prose fiction is called “science fiction”
Designed objects that are symptomatic of a fictional, adjacent world are called “Design Fictions”
