UPDATE: @josephbharding just WITHDREW his amendment which would have required schools to out LGBTQ students, even if the disclosure would result in abuse

@josephbharding The bill itself, however, is still scheduled for a vote in the Florida house today.

And it is still very bad.

Should the bill become law, younger students with same-sex parents could be prohibited from discussing their family in class.

UPDATE: The full Florida House is scheduled to vote on the "Don't Say Gay" bill today

The House will also consider an amendment to the bill requiring schools to out LGBTQ students even in cases where it could lead to abuse
