Trudeau revoking the Emergencies Act explained:
To justify his massive power grab the media and the polling companies ran deliberate disinformation campaigns (i.e. framing the Ottawa protest as an occupation) #EmergenciesAct#TrudeauTyranny
As a follow up all the major polling companies conducted "research" on public opinion with maliciously framed questions. So most questionnaires would start with a question that was actually a statement meant to portray the convoy as bad people.
Basically question 1 would be: Do you support the measures Justin Trudeau is taking to remove the Alt-Right occupation that is being funded by foreign dark money. This framing cause 65% of polled Canadians to side with the emergency powers being used.
However, when the government started freezing bank accounts with a court order, beating up peaceful protestors and threatening an indefinite police state framing the measures as benign was no longer possible.
This is why 48 hours later the @CPC_HQ started to speak out against the act, since their internal polling data changed under the more honest terms. For the record, the CPC is fully incapable of wiping their own behinds without conducting polling data or a focus group first.
Now that the bill passed the house and its only justification from most Liberal and NDP MPs was that they wanted to avoid an election the narrative has completely collapsed.
There are still some hardline authoritarians within the Liberal party, but the real data has now reached HQ that this is an extremely unpopular move so they need to save face.
Look for the Liberals, Legacy Media and polling companies to restart this cycle to justify Trudeau moving some of the emergency powers into his everyday arsenal.
