Wei wuxian realized his 14yrold kid might me too much like him when he called wwx to pls pick him up at a coffeeshop on a school day, when he was SUPPOSED to be at art club for three more hours with no explanation

To see a-yuan completely fine next to what looks like half the art club and his most favorite nephew ("im your only nephew!") all over the cafe very badly pretending they arent looking at a goth kid every other second in worry

When he gets inside and a-yuan spots him, the kid has the audacity to smile just like his uncle wen ning when he pretends a very weird thing is Totally Normal (like the ostritch roomate incident, vets are hilarious and wn is no exception)

After getting the most horrible coffee orders any of those teenagers have ever heard, wwx finallt gets some answers from son and nephew (and goth kid, reluctantly):

There are some details the kids seemed to hold back but wwx didnt press them, after all the most important piece of information was that after finding out mxy's gay, his aunt 'finally had enough' and convinced everyone would understand, kicked mo xuanyu out

Mxy stays in wwx's studio room, and every day that wwx asks him and ayuan what they want for dinner he unwinds a little bit

After wwx finally sits down with him and offers him a permanent stay and to go buy furniture, mxy's shoulders finally even out

ANYWAYS wwx has two sons now and its not always easy and it unearths so many memories for wwx but they get there, and this just means lwj is gonna have to get the approval of two teenagers when they start dating lol
