ππΌ
Hannah's story began on a happy note. She married the man of her dream.ππΌ Soon, things began to get awry. Her hubby took a second wife. We are not told why Elkanah, her husband took a second wife, however, It could probably be because
she had delays in conception.
ππΌ
This second wife, Penninah became a nightmare to Hannah. She reminded her daily that she was just a barren & fruitless woman.
*1 Samuel 1:7b MSG*
This went on year after year. Every time she went to the sanctuary of God she could expect to be
taunted. Hannah was reduced to tears and had no appetite.π
ππΌ
She found solace in going to God's sanctuary, yet nothing happened the way she had thought it would. Depression now gave way to Panic-attack & deliriumπ₯
*Suddenly, she pulled herself together* .
*1 Samuel 1:9 MSG*
...then she pulled herself together, slipped away quietly, and entered the sanctuary.
*1 Samuel 1:10* Crushed in soul, Hannah prayed to God and cried and cried - inconsolably.
*1 Samuel 1:12*
It so happened that as she continued in prayer before God, Eli
was watching her closely.
ππΌ
It was going to be her day. Although, she dint know it then, but, God had set things in motion.
*1 Samuel 1:19b MSG* says;
...and God began making the necessary arrangements in response to what she had asked....
*1 Samuel 1:20a MSG*

We see how Jephthah, a mighty man of valour, was thrust out of his father's house, because, his mum was a whore.π₯
All hopes of getting an inheritance were lost.π
ππΌ
One day, his big break came.
*V4a* said, " *In the Process of time* ..." That is, after a long time, he was badly needed to remedy a very bad situation. Obviously, they knew he had great potentials, yet, out of wickedness,
they thrust him out. π¬
ππΌ
And when his big day came, he called the shots.
ππΌHe said, will you make me king over you if I sort this mess out? and with one voice, they said, YES. Just sort this out for us.ππΌ
*When it's God at work, you may not understand the process.*
