1. The Ruble is falling. Putin can’t just print monies & fill up ATMs. It must be backed by something. Biden starved the Central Bank of Russia of precious Dollars.
2. America will suffer from these sanctions, but not as much as Russia. So how much misery is Putin willing to inflict on Russians & the Russian Economy?
3. Biden don’t want higher Oil prices. Higher Oil prices benefits Russia. China remains Russia’s strategic Oil buyer, & 40% of Russia’s Gold Reserve is held by China. Russia is now left with the option of selling its Oil in Rubles.
4. Although China is neutral & will continue to buy Oil from Russia, Chinese companies won’t defy America by dealing with Russia. Biden will sanction Chinese firms for defiance.
5. For now, Russia will continue to find its way around these sanctions, while EU & America will continue to stifle Russia & squeeze the noose on Putin.
6. An approximate 80% of Russia’s Oil sales is now settled in Ruble. Saudi Arabia & OPEC won’t sanction Russia. Russia will remain a member of the OPEC+.
7. Saudi Arabia won’t choose sides, the Kingdom will continue to remain neutral. Russia’s $630 billion buffer piled up in the West is now being targeted & frozen out by America & the West.
8. For how long will the Central Bank of Russia continue to support & bail out the Russian Government. Effects of these biting sanctions will get worse.
9. I don’t see Putin stretching his Crusade beyond what it already is. He should count his losses & go home. There is no winning this war. Not with this level of resistance from Ukrainians.
10. I am sure Vladimir Putin did not imagine he will receive these level of sanctions. Now if he goes nuclear, then he invites a WWIII. Deescalation should be the mood in Kremlin, the mood of all of Russia. Give peace a chance.
who is not a member of the OPEC+**

This is how the NASS voted on Bills for an Act to alter the 1999 Constitution:

1. Move VAT to the Exclusive Legislative List:❌ (Wike won).

2. Diaspora voting:❌ (sad for democracy).

3. Independent candidacy:✅ (now we crowdfund for Peter Obi as an independent candidate).
4. Powers to States to generate, transmit & distribute electricity: ✅ (this will grow the economy).

5. Move Railway to Concurrent Legislative List: ✅ (private sector investments will flow in).
6. Move Airports to Concurrent Legislative List:✅ (privately owned airports will spring up, this is good for the economy).

7. Powers to summon the President or Governors by the NASS & State Assemblies: ✅ (a win for democracy).

1. Biden’s “State Of The Union Address” is going to have lots of talking points. Biden will try to stress the power of the Alliance & the sacrifices Americans will have to make as biting inflation & sanctions takes foothold.
2. Biden is a pacifist but I’m sure we know that already. His speech & body language will continue to stress “deescalation.”

Deescalation will come at what cost?
3. Afghanistan & Ukraine are enough defeats for Biden, but they equally show the World his humanity. Biden is not a Demagogue. Demagoguery is not his strength, humanity is!!

1. Nigeria & Ukraine share a great deal similarities. Like Nigerians, Ukrainians are yet to resolve their national identity crisis between pro-Russia East & pro-European West. This conflict started since Ukraine’s 1991 independence from the Soviet Union.
2. Like Northern & Southern Nigeria, East & West Ukraine disagree fundamentally about what sort of country they want to have & what it means to be Ukrainian.
3. Like Nigeria, Ukraine is not a coherent national unit with a common narrative or commonly shared political aspirations. Russian-speaking Ukrainians in the East & South, particularly in Crimea, consider themselves as citizens of Russia over Ukraine.

1. ExxonMobil & Shell are exiting their land investments in Nigeria. They are selling off their Oil & Gas Assets in Nigeria. Beyond economic reasons, there are security concerns. There is something the IOCs know about Nigeria, something they have seen, that you & I do not know.
2. They are selling off their land assets in Nigeria & setting up shops in safer African countries.

ExxonMobil & Shell were Nigeria’s Partners & Critical National Asset Investors for decades. Their gradual exit from Nigeria means the U.S & UK have no business in your fight.
3. It’s 11+ years. Yet, the Boko Haram still flex their muscle. Add banditry; terrorism becomes diversified.

The army is overstretched, so to end insurgency, it’ll take more than what Nigeria can give at the moment. In case of any external aggression, Nigerians are on their own.

1. Joseph Biden have the most difficult job in the world at the moment. While Donald Trump will enjoy his fluffy pillows, perhaps stay awake sipping some Piña colada, Biden won’t sleep.
2. He will address the world at noon. But that is the least of my worries right now. Putin is…..

Air raid sirens is going off throughout the city of Kiev. Reminiscence of the blaring alarms of Nazi bombers approaching the city of London.
3. The air all around the city of Kiev is ominous. The picture is unclear, but it’s the start of something much bigger to come.

Russia has been flying around Ukraine airspace knocking out Ukraine’s air defense systems & military infrastructure on a massive scale.

1. When I say Nigeria needs a charismatic President, one that can stand shoulder to shoulder with World Leaders, this is what I mean. Nigeria has seen Glory Days. Obasanjo is the best there was, the best there will ever be.
2. The reason most of Nigerians are ignorant about the job or the duties of the President of World’s most populous nation, is bcos President Muhammadu Buhari has lowered the bar. Nigeria is riddled with many problems but Foreign Policy shapes its image around the World.
3. You can hardly travel with the Nigerian passport without experiencing some form of discrimination, even while traveling within Africa. You can’t neglect the Image of 9ja abroad. The consequences is dire.
