FLASH UPDATE ON THE DIPLOMATIC FRONT
As of 10 am, March 1: Humanitarian aid
Humanitarian aid has been pouring from all over the world. Cargo with essential supplies has been already dispatched from France, Slovakia, Switzerland, India, Estonia, Lithuania #StopPutin#StopRussia
Yesterday evening, the UK sent to Poland the first instalment of medical supplies. Overall, London has allocated 40 million pounds for humanitarian aid. And this is just a fraction of assistance provided to us from our friends across the world.
International isolation
With every strike on a Ukrainian city, town or village, Russia sinks deeper into isolation. Russia is facing mass closure of ports and restrictions on movement in seas. The UK is working on a legal solution to ban Russian vessels from British ports.
Several days ago, the European Broadcasting Union announced that not a single Russian artist would be allowed to participate in 2022 Song Competition, and yesterday FIFA and UEFA adopted a joint decision to suspend Russian national teams and clubs from all its competitions
The U.S. is expelling 12 Russian diplomats from UN mission to increase pressure on Russia
The international ani-Putin coalition is taking action. With such courageous military and such overwhelming global support, we will force the belligerents to stop the aggression.
