I have been trying to hold it together for a long time now but... here is what I have on my mind *disclaimer - I only tweet about things I am very certain off, investigated a lot into and that I personay belive have not been seen as a wholeAbout @SkySportsF1#Duel loved it! Why?
Here is the deal:
Was Hamilton robbed in the last race: Yes
Did Hamilton deserve the championship: subjective
Did the FIA act wrong: Yes
Was it only on @MichaelMasiF1: No
Does #Duel give a fair/unbiased version of events: Yes
Am I a Hamilton fan: Yes
Am I a Verstappen fan: Yes
So before the hate starts let's get somethings straight off the bat:
I love what Hamilton has done for the sport, I love what he has achieved and I believe will still achieve. Amazing driver, Unquestionably one of the best drivers ever.
Now, does that earn him the title? No
Have I forgotten what a massive arrogant sod he was at the start of his career? NO
Has he done a lot of same things to even teammates as people are hating on Verstappen for? Hell yeah
Was he still robbed of the race win? Yes
Does that make Verstappen an undeserving champion? No
Was it all Masi's fault? No! He had a final decision but what goes on in the race directors room we will never know.
Was Masi biased towards Verstappen?
I don't know for certain, but if he was, he had a very weird way of showing it throughout the season and past seasons
Oh yeah! How many unfair decisions did Masi make in favour of Hamilton and Mercedes? Why does everyone forget about that? They were possibly championship changing decisions too.
And Finally hating on sky sports for a documentary that covers both sides and keeps to facts, like???
@SkySportsF1 is NOT @fia ok?
Now, championship: Max deserved the championship despite the error? I believe so. Was it fair that everyone is hating on Verstappen? Verstappen did not make the decision and should be allowed to celebrate! Great driver too, better stats all year
Aaaand if Verstappen had not been taken out - no other wording for it - in Silvertone that mess in Abu Dhabi would not have mattered - Verstappen would have won. So you all take a chill pill and see F1 more than just what is on the news, before commenting on anything please?
One Final thing! Was Hamilton wrong in ignoring the rules and not going to the prize ceremony? The most childish behaviour I have seen. It would have been a lot more meaningful to show up, make a statement! Tell the FIA they were wrong! Show them how strong you are @LewisHamilton
Also, There are bigger issues to be worrying about out there? Let's use a bit of perspective #UkraineAppeal
