DOJ said there was a “mountain of evidence” against Guy Reffitt, which is actually somewhat of an understatement.

“You should find my client guilty” of a misdemeanor charge, William Welch, Guy Reffitt’s attorney, tells the jury. But says there’s not enough evidence to find him guilty on the felony counts.

Jackson Reffitt, Guy Reffitt’s son, "has been hyping this on CNN, on Good Morning America, and on his GoFundMe page,” Welch argued.

Welch: This case has been a rush to judgment, most of it based on bragging and a lot of hype.
