With these changes, about three in four uninsured Black adults and nearly four in five uninsured Hispanic or Latino adults are now eligible for low-cost health care.
Address the Black maternal health Crisis. The President’s Budget includes significant funding to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity rates, improve health equity, and end race-based disparities nationwide.
Eliminate inequitable school infrastructure conditions. Black and brown children are more likely than their white peers to attend schools with run down and unsafe facilities.
Increase the maximum Pell Grant award. Nearly 60 percent of Black, almost half of Latino, half of American Indian or Alaska Native, and more than one-third of Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander students depend on Pell Grants to help pay for college.

How many of you people out there been hurt in some kind of love affair?
And how many times do you swear that you'll never love again?
How many lonely, sleepless nights?
How many lies, how many fights?
Well, why would you want to put yourself through all that again?
"Love is pain, " I hear you say
Love has a cruel and bitter way
Of paying you back for all the faith you ever had in your brain
How could it be that what you need the most
Can leave you feeling just like a ghost?
You never want to feel so sad and lost again
One day you could be looking
Through an old book in rainy weather
You see a picture of her smiling at you
When you were still together
You could be walking down the street
And who should you chance to meet
But that same old smile you've been thinking of all day
If you are wondering what you can do to ensure you are helping and not harming these midterms you need to make your tweets and actions about those we need to support. Make the center focus on the candidates we need elected. Make the trend and comments about them.
Midterms historically have lower turnout than general elections and 2016 shows us that some people hold grudges when they vote and lose during the primaries. CHANGE THE NARRATIVE. Pull as many of them back by speaking to their CAUSES! Help to reach across and build a coalition.
When we have a seat at the table we can ensure the legislative change. If you want to make change we must first win the seat. FOR EVERY ONE WHOSE CANDIDATE LOST.. we must try and bring them BACK into the fold to help push the win over when its DNC v GOP! We can make the change.
