Ego has God’s Son believing He is a body on a tiny rock, alone and technically autonomous, yet constrained by physics and the actions and intentions of other bodies. (ctd)
Cut off from His source in a vast dream and reduced to a body, God’s sleeping Child believes that the ego He dreamt is also limited to bodies.
Yet, just as God has only One Child, the Child is haunted in the dream by a lone ego, that shattered His mind into lonely bits. (ctd)
It is this broken belief in individual autonomy and egoic individuation that perpetuates the separation.
And it is irredeemable personal guilt and perpetual, unforgivable outrage that serve to deepen and entrench it. (ctd)
…All of which are mirrored in the world of grievances - directed both inwards and outwards - that you believe you see.
It is not true, none of it.
And all you need do to wash it clean is forgive it, all.
Pro-tip: Don’t just use your ego-weakened state to feebly wish to awaken.
Use your God-given omnipotence to Will that the egoic illusion clouding your thoughts evaporate with the troubled dream in which it arose, in answer to the idle question you took with you to sleep. #ACIM
