Looks like Zelensky has adopted the "if i go down you go down with me" approach. He is basically asking for World War 3. I just stumbled upon a clip of Zelenskys railing against what he calls "NATO's weakness", it's "disunity" its "cowardice" over its refusal to institute

For Vladimir Putin, the decision to invade Ukraine could be his crowning legacy or the nail in the coffin of his two decade domination of Russia. Putin will without hesitation resort to using nuclear weapons that suffer a humiliating defeat at a hands of NATO.
NATO expansion into former Soviet Republics and the possibility of Ukraine becoming a NATO member state is part of the reason behind Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Imagine NATO jets actually shooting down Russian jets to enforce a No Fly Zone over Ukraine.
