I get to kick off the week reviewing every glorious page of AQUAMAN: THE BECOMING and FUTURE STATE: AQUAMAN for the collected edition that's off to the printer today!

Thread of some fave moments because I love these books so dang much. First, the #1 issue covers, because DUH.

We had some super inventive sci-fi elements in this story, brilliantly realized here on this teleportation page by @Koblish and the rest of the art team. Probably one of my favorite pages in the whole series, you can FEEL the crackles of energy leaping off the page.

Oh, you want to get your heart broken, do you? Look no further than the work #PaulPelletier and @NormRapmund did together. I came back to these panels time and time again, they punched me in the gut every time.

Some extremely choice Arthur, Mera, and Andy from @SergAcuna in an issue that plunged in to some achingly dark waters. The levity and brightness and love Serg poured into these beachside flashback sequences were crucial to the delicate storytelling balance.

This gorgeous and kinetic Jackson Hyde Escapes! sequence by @DiegoOlortegui_ @WadevonG and @fxstudiocolor. Period, end of sentence.

The Most Mera Mera to Mera a Mera by @SkyePatridge and crew, because we deserve an aspirational, tough-as-nails queen who refuses to sanction buffoonery.
