We are not even at war with Russia. Our only declared enemy is Al Qaeda... and the View previously treated Tulsi like a traitor for wanted to smash them.

Khodorkovsky's Propaganda Cartel doesn't like it that Clint Ehrlich is reporting that sanctions have not hurt Putin's popularity, but has rather, boosted it. And so... they've responded by smearing him as "groomed by Moscow" ... where he is a visiting researcher.
Immersive study, and doing research in a country that you mean to specialize in... is fricken *normal* in the foreign policy / international relations world, and part of how you become an expert about it.
What's also normal: Support for a leader tends to strengthen, and nationalism is stoked, when a country is under attack. I know of zero PoliSci persons IRL who think these sanctions are going to hurt Putin's popularity...

Writing my reps to call for Senator @MittRomney & Congressman @AdamKinzinger to be censured & stripped of their committee seats, for defaming, swiftboating, & falsely accusing LTC @TulsiGabbard of treason. Political persecution should not be happening in America. #StandWithTulsi
Because of what they've done, & the trust people place on them because of who they are, some of the public are calling for her to face a military tribunal & be executed. This is horrifying. As national leaders, this political stunt is beyond the pale, and cannot go unanswered.
I am also calling for those two to apologize and make things right. If they do not, then their party leaders need to. I am also writing @POTUS @JoeBiden to let him know that this constituent will not stand for America turning into a fascist country.

Tulsi's patriotism is her strongest political asset. It's why her political opponents work so hard to discredit it with these outrageous accusations that are grounded in nothing, wholly built on rhetorical appeals to people's base prejudices. This is heinous #Swiftboating.
What are Tulsi's inexplicable pro-Russian positions?
Smash al-Qaeda instead of arming them.
The Presidential Transition Act is an important law that keeps our democracy stable & should be adhered to.
Mrs Clinton is not the Queen of America.
Don't do dumb shit just to /pwn/ Putin.
These positions are "inexplicably" pro-Russian... because to say that they're actually "pro-Russian" takes some fucked up pretzel logic.

It's obvious that our President is trying to rapidly collapse the Russian Federation w/ this draconian economic blockade. There is no justification for doing such a thing to a country we are not at war with, and even if we were at war with them. news.un.org/en/story/2018/…
Biden's administration is threatening other countries who would help Russia "circumvent sanctions". This is now officially an economic *blockade* that could be construed as an act of war. ft.com/content/308504…
Blockades are considered a crime against humanity (and a war crime in times of war) because they expose *innocents* to the ravages of war. Could this be why the war-makers are working so hard to get us to not see the Russian people as innocents?
