#TheKashmirFiles in its true sense is not a movie but a kind of short documentary showcasing two four incidents of brutality with trying it's best to cover all subjects, all directions in just 2 three hours.

Jammu and kashmir has thousands of such stories, yes not only kashmir but jammu too has hundreds of such stories which will bleed your heart into two.

Take for example,

*On 14 August 1993 , 17 Hindus were pulled out of bus which had both Hindu Muslim passengers and after separating Hindus from Muslims, terrorists shot dead 17 Hindus in Kishtwar.

* the Nadipura Massacre which is shown the movie where 23 hindus were lined up and shot dead, when they fleeing, they heard a baby cry, 'Ye karnawun Chupe' ordered one M* terrorist, The baby was silenced and he became the 24th victim.
This was not in 90tees but in 2003.

Even before that, in 4 May, 1998, my own family, My two uncle, one cousin, a sum total of total 9 people were ambushed and killed.

*19 June 1998,
a marriage party was attacked Chapnari area of Doda, terrorist lined 25 Baraati and shot all them dead. One M* was asked to leave.

The 1998 Prankote & Dakikote Massacre was the killing of 26 hindus in Udhampur District, that led migration of thousands of hindus from there.
*The 1998 Wandhama (kashmir) massacre refers to the killings of 25 Kashmiri Hindus. The victims included four children and nine women

2001 Kot Charwal Massacre was the killing of the 15 Bakarwal in the village of Chawalkote by the M terrorist in Rajouri Distt.
Terrorist came at night, initially asked to hand over some female of village to satisfy their sexual urges. When the villagers resisted...

Then they lobbed a grenade inside before setting the house on fire. Of the 15 charred bodies which were recovered seven were of children, the youngest one being only four years old

*In 2001, Kishtwar, a group of 10 militants swooped on the village and dragged 20 males belonging to the Hindu community out of their houses. They were taken to the adjacent rocky mountain belt and shot.

*The 2002 Kaluchak Massacre, terrorist entered the family quarter of the Army and fired indiscriminately at the inmates, killing 23 persons, including 10 children, eight women and five Army men.
*2002 RaghunathTemple bombings, 25 persons including 3 security personnel were killed

*In 2006, villagers were asked to gathered in a house in kulhand - Doda, Hindus were separated from M*, were fire indiscriminately. 22 Hindus dead.
*In the same day, (Year 2006) 9 more bodies of Hindus, who were kidnapped from Basantgarh in Udh. distt. recovered.

Now these are incident in which ten twenty hindus were killed at once and that too from two three district, imagine happening this in whole J&K
I have not wrote attacks on individual hindus/attack on security personnel.
Also, they ar many such massacre which was not evn reported.

So, what you have seen in movie is just a tip of ice berg, if you can't even see that on reel, you can imagine what jammu and kashmiri people have gone through..
