$SD Token Launch is just a few hours away.

Time to unravel its distribution and vesting schedule.

$SD token's total supply is limited to 150 million.

And they'll be distributed in a way to incentivize users and key stakeholders to participate actively in the network.

Plus, a portion of the tokens will be reserved for 3rd parties to build on the Stader platform.

Vesting?

The team has a total vesting period of 42 months:

- 6 months cliff vesting after token launch
- 36 months linear vesting after that

All private and strategic sale participants have a 36-month long linear vesting.

Here's a quick snapshot of token distribution and vesting:

$SD tokens generate value through protocol fees.

Stader charges a percentage of staking rewards as fees.

The fees charged will be anywhere between 3% - 10% depending on the staking solution (if elected by governance).

A portion of these fees will be paid to $SD stakers.
