How I made 6 figures last year sneaker botting part time and 5 lessons I learned in my first year taking it more seriously, a thread for beginners: 🧵⬇️

1. 3/3/21 I decided to give botting a little more effort since I started working from home. I already had SoleAIO but bought Kodai for the UNC 1’s that weekend but Supreme Dunks were the next morning and I said why not. I hit a ~$3000 come up! Shit’s easy right?

2. Wrong. I didn’t have a mentor to guide me and while there’s a lot of information out there, it can be really disorganized and the gate-keeping can be real, which is fair. No one wants to clip the loop. So I had to learn by trial and error and I made a lot of mistakes.

3. As you can see from the screenshot, I’ve tried a bunch of different bots most bought/rented but some free from friends. I’ve also tried most proxy providers. I’ve also tried a bunch of different cook groups and other services. Here are my lessons and "top X lists”.

4. You need @aycdio. $50/month. Toolbox is a necessity for every sneaker botter to farm gmails, make VCC’s/profiles, and a lot more. It’s included in your AYCD membership and @aycdjake provides free ACO. Jake also welcomes DM’s which is not the norm. Follow them for restocks.

5. @Boominati_io for LA in-store information. $55/month. I’ve easily made $10k+ from this group’s local in-store info in the last 12 months. I love my fam in #bot-chat too. If you’re in LA, I highly recommend it. DM me if you want to get in.

6. Best bot for a beginner? Bot success fluctuates but currently, I think the best bang for your buck and accessible bot is @PrismAIO. Super underrated across all sites and should be way more in the secondary market. Resell is ~$550 on @Tidalmrkt and renewal is $150/3 months.

7. Best proxies? Easily the best residential proxy provider with the most consistent success for me across all sites has been @LiveProxies. They are a little pricier but they are worth it. 10/10 recommend. I also use them for my dedicated servers.

8. More affordable, quality proxies? @LethalProxies. Their subnets, ISPs, and resis have all hit well for me since I’ve started using them. DM if you want a discount code (I am sponsored but I don’t make anything from the discount.) Now time for the top 5 lessons I’ve learned...

Lesson #1. Don’t FOMO in. Just because you see a bot do well one drop doesn't mean it will on the next. Bot/proxy restocks are designed to trigger FOMO. Look at the bigger picture and see what devs are consistent with their success and also transparent about their failures.

Lesson #2. Adapt and spread your expenses across every opportunity to make profit. I focused a lot on footsites and YS but got into retail botting way too late. I also don’t go for a lot of Shopify drops because I’m lazy. If you already have a bot/proxies that can run, why not?

Lesson #3. Plan ahead and look back. Look at what drops are coming, make your goals, and plan. Trying to buy proxies, rent bots, and set up last minute never goes as well as you hope it will. Also, take a look back at drops and see what mistakes you made or how you can improve.

Lesson #4. Seek help and be willing to help. People don’t want to clip the loop. I get it. But I’m a firm believer in what comes around goes around. Don’t be a paranoid weirdo that you’re going to make less money long term because you told someone one thing that might help them.

Lesson #5. Stay patient and keep your head up throughout the L’s. You can do everything right and you still get wrecked. This last week, I felt that more than ever. Get off Twitter. Touch some grass. Enjoy life. There’s literally new releases every single week.
