Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra Kuvshynova and Fox News cameraman were killed by Russian artillery while reporting in Horenka (Kyiv Oblast). Fox News reporter Benjamin Hall was injured and has been hospitalized
Oleksandra Kuvshynova is our friend. She was a beautiful human being, a professional producer and journalist (she was cooperating with world-known media such as VICE, Fox News, etc), a promising photographer, and a dedicated volunteer with a big heart
Oleksandra Kuvshynova was only 24. She was a co-founder of FUSION (jam sessions parties) and KRAЙ (environmental art festival), worked for 100% Life (the largest patient-led organization in Ukraine), and many other cultural and health care organizations
Meanwhile, @FoxNews doesn't even mention Oleksandra’s death, although she worked with the Fox News team on the ground for a long time. It's an offense to the professionals who are covering the Russian invasion of Ukraine at the cost of their lives
We believe that after the war, her name will live in all those endeavors she started. So, for now, you could support her close friends and colleagues on their projects' Instagram pages.
Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski was an Irish journalist, a veteran photographer who worked for Fox News in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. He had been reporting from Ukraine since February
Update: Fox News mentioned Oleksandra Kuvshynova's death
During these dark times, we still want to celebrate great artists and powerful voices of Ukraine that contribute to the artistic legacy of the whole world
Today, on March 9, the Shevchenko National Prize Committee announced the winners. Shevchenko National Prize is the highest state prize of Ukraine for works of culture and arts awarded since 1961
Our warmest congratulations to:
Kateryna Gornostai for film Stop-Zemlia (Cinematography nomination)
❗️As a result of the hostile actions of the occupiers, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was completely de-energized. Fighting is currently underway, making it impossible to repair and restore power. The city of Slavutych is also de-energized
All nuclear facilities in Chernobyl have been left without electricity. About 20,000 wasted fuel assemblies are stored in the spent nuclear fuel storage facility. They need constant cooling, which is impossible without electricity
If they are not cooled down constantly, the temperature in the storage pools will rise, resulting in evaporating and release of radioactive substances into the environment. The wind can transfer a radioactive cloud to other regions of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, and Europe
The International Judo Federation removed Putin and his close friend and oligargh Arkady Rotenberg from all positions held in the IJD
This is a rather symbolic decision. However, the international sports community already does a lot to stand with Ukraine.
These are organizations that sanction Russia: FIFA and UEFA, International Olympic and Paralympic Committees, Fédération Internationale de Volleyball,..

Civilian Ukrainians massively steal military equipment out from under the Russian Forces. When we don't have enough help from NATO, we just take what we need from the invaders
Our farmers are definitely braver than the Russian military, which shells residential areas at a distance
That wasn’t the only case — it’s a strand among farmers
Kherson under Russian occupation: citizens come to the city center to show the invaders that they are not welcome in Ukrainian cities
In Kherson, citizens drove Russian military equipment out of the city center.
A policeman with a Ukrainian flag jumped on the APC of the invaders
Earlier, the occupiers in Kherson opened a warning fire and demanded that citizens leave the streets, but the Ukrainians told them to go fuck themselves
People are being brought [most likely from the occupied Crimea] into southern Ukrainian cities in an organized way to portray the residents of Kherson, Melitopol and other cities that are temporarily under occupation
