One of the many revealing statements the employers have made while scrabbling around trying to defend the indefensible in the #ForstaterTribunal. So life is of no value unless you have developed some kind of "identity". What is that? 1/

What's become very clear in #ForstaterTribunal: these executives have gone hook, line and sinker for the new gender ideology and regard anyone who disagrees as a bad person. Lost sight entirely of their duty as employers to foster a tolerant and accepting workplace ... 2/

... while apparently regarding themselves as protecting the workplace from bigotry.
It did not occur to them that treating Forstater's views as bigoted was itself a form of bigotry and an employer's proper role is not to take sides on political differences between employees 3/

What's clear too is that they have not fully got their heads around the basic GC arguments, in their alacrity to problematise them and then problem-solve. They seem surprised and caught off guard when presented with basic GC arguments, as if they had never considered them 4/

It's so revealing of how corporate capture by this ideology happens, even among people intelligent on other topics. Gender ideology has got away with murder through how it's been cognitively framed in the workplace: that adherence to it is essential for diversity and inclusion 5/

This is of course a complete misconception of diversity and inclusion. The #ForstaterTribunal is potentially deadly for the model of D&I that large UK organisations have been using, often based on advice from Stonewall and embedded by its supporters inside the organisation 6/

D&I in workplaces has drifted along so far following a gender ideologist belief system that few in the organisations thoroughly understand or think through ... 7/

and it has all drifted that way until now because:
(1) those pushing it have been on a mission in the last 5 years;
(2) to many orgs, there has seemed no good reason not to; and
(3) to those tempted to ask questions, fear of a career-ending witch hunt is disincentive enough 8/

The #ForstaterTribunal could start to shake big organisations out of those certainties. An organisation being pulled apart - and let's hope, excoriated by judge - - for not respecting GC beliefs, has big implications for how 'trans issue' is handled in big organisations ... 9/

Not that trans staff should not be treated with dignity and respect, of course they should. But organisations after this may have to accept that simply going along with the TRA lobby is not the easy ticking of the D&I box it seemed. 10/

Leaderships of corporates, 3rd sector and govt bodies may get a rude awakening to the fact they almost certainly have GC staff who have a right not to be smeared as bigots in the workplace. 11/

Many organisations are going to have to adjust their whole culture on this issue or face court embarrassment.
If it's not #ForstaterTribunal, it will be another case - writing is on the wall. The days of organisations deferring to niche ideological lobbyists are numbered. /Ends
