Business Analyst, Project Management, Product Management, UI/UX Designer, Data Analyst.
What do they do daily? 🧵🧵🧵🧵
I had a chat recently with an undergraduate who is interested in finding a career in tech coming from a non STEM background and has no strength for overly technical roles.
How best do I then explain the roles above?
I thought of using the life experience of people in these roles
I always recommend this, check google/youtube and look for what a day in the life of these people looks like.
Besides just learning courses and taking the certification, knowing what a typical day looks like in the life of these people can help you better prepare for what you do.
Let me share the resources I used for the engagement right here.
I shared at least 3 for each role. I also make sure I have women's stories which is a good example of possibilities

I hope you found it useful?

Imagine in your head a small boy roaming on the street with only pant.
Crying as he walk down the street looking for a miracle to eat and make it through the night.
It was clear, food is a substance you take not to die and never something to enjoy.
Let's stop here...
This was ME. Life all started without hope of surviving for the next day.
A small child yet with vivid images of what poverty meant through his romance with poverty.
Imagine what life presented to this child and how his experiences would have changed his life view...
