(2/4) The Ukrainian civilian population in Russian-occupied cities continues to protest against Russian control.
(3/4) Russian efforts to subdue the population by manipulating the media, spreading propaganda and installing puppet, pro-Kremlin, leaders have so far failed.
(4/4) Russia will probably respond to these failures by employing increasingly violent and coercive measures in an attempt to suppress the Ukrainian population.

Russia has claimed that it has fired a number of β€œhypersonic” missiles against targets in western Ukraine.

If true, these were likely the Kinzhal; an air launched ballistic missile system based on the Iskander ballistic missile which has itself already been heavily used by Russian forces in their attack on Ukraine.

1/3 Heavy fighting continues north of Kyiv.
2/3 Russian forces advancing on the city from the north-east have stalled. Forces advancing from the direction of Hostomel to the north-west have been repulsed by fierce Ukrainian resistance. The bulk of Russian forces remain more than 25 kilometres from the centre of the city.
