@Quantum87752981 @johnpilger It's a trap for China, just as Ukraine was a trap for Russia which Russia was well aware. The US has cynically used Ukraine at the expense of the Ukrainian people to:

3. Accuse China of not being an "honest" broker because of its relationship with Russia.

@Quantum87752981 @johnpilger Russia, however, despite the horrific Western spin and utterly false propaganda is methodically achieving its objectives. It could have bombed the crap out of Ukraine, US-style, but instead has chosen to go street-to-street in urban combat to inflict as little damage as possible.
