NOW: Join veteran journalist @jnery_newsstand as he talks to Isko volunteer Drieza Lininding in a candid discussion of presidential candidate Isko Moreno’s prospects, especially in Mindanao in this episode of On The Campaign Trail.
Lininding: Love at first sight... Nakita ko 'yung sense of belongingness [kay Isko] lalo na sa aming mga Muslims, we are a minority in this country. #OnTheCampaignTrail
Did you have the chance to meet Isko personally?
Lininding said that he met Moreno in November and was the first one to ask questions to the presidential candidate.
Lininding: He has the right answers for us and I was surprised na ganoon kalalim sa mga issues sa Marawi. #OnTheCampaignTrail
Lininding said that he last met Yorme in a recent meeting in March with other Moro leaders.
Lininding on campaign structure: We are on the volunteer side of the campaign. My group is affiliated with the Pilipinas Got First movement, the political volunteer arm of Aksyon Demokratiko. #OnTheCampaignTrail
Lininding: With the increase of rating, ito 'yung nakakasurprise kasi once lang nag-visit dito si Isko sa Mindanao. Before that, 8% na siya.
Lininding: I think he has all the right answers for us.
WATCH:
Lininding: Much that I'm rooting Isko to win, for me the right man in this position... but will all these missteps, I'm hoping that within this more than a month [left in the campaign period] we can still compensate for that. Ang maganda kay Yorme, he's a complete package.
Lininding says there's a disconnect with the strategy of Moreno's campaign team and his message of going to the masses.
WATCH:
Lininding: 'Yung kanilang strategy, kinakausap nila 'yung mga LGUs, incumbent politicians. Sinasabi ko sa kanila na let's not rely on the LGUs. 'Yung mga LGUs, tinitingnan nila 'yung survey numbers. They will not gamble on you.
WATCH:
Lininding: 'Yung napabayaan dito ay 'yung sinasabi ni Yorme na 'direct to the masses.' We need to invest on the homegrown grassroots volunteers of Isko Moreno.
WATCH:
Lininding refers to the 2016 elections when Duterte's campaign was backed by volunteers early on, not politicians: "But he won."
WATCH:
Lininding: Yorme can still win. Ang kailangan lang ay one defining moment that will capture the hearts of the majority of the Filipinos. That one defining moment, hindi 'yan makukuha sa plano.
WATCH:
Lininding says there should be better coordination between the national campaign team and the organic groups of Isko supporters.
WATCH:
Lininding says ISSA doesn't benefit Isko Moreno's campaign. "It's negative for Isko.... Hindi na kailangan ni Yorme 'yung ganoon. With many of President Duterte's people now with him, I think that's enough. 'Yung tandem na ISSA, sa tingin ko mas naka-minus pa 'yun kay Isko."

.@ramboreports: Bakit mahalaga ang endorsement ni Pantaleon Alvarez? 2016 crucial siya sa eleksiyon ni President Duterte dahil in charge siya sa grassroots organizing.
Former Duterte ally Pantaleon Alvarez endorses Vice President Leni Robredo in the President’s home region on Thursday, March 24, after his party dropped Senator Panfilo Lacson as presidential bet.
@maracepeda .@maracepeda says local Davao officials' endorsement is good boost for Robredo's campaign. Robredo lost big in the "Duterte country" in the 2016 elections, ranking only 3rd next to then-Duterte running mate Cayetano, and Marcos.
@maracepeda .@maracepeda: Now we can expect na mayroong makinarya na gagalaw para kay Leni Robredo dito sa Davao.
