1. For a long time I wondered who Shane Long was. He was always around Identity Dixie members on Facebook. Turns out he's a commercial airline pilot and was/is in multiple hate groups.

2. There were other images including ones with the Identity Dixie magnolia and another piloting a small plane, but "Shane Long" is very common and he never interested me enough to invest the amount of time I'd need to sift through endless search results.

3. Recently I discovered he publicly posted the obit for his grandmother. In it he was listed as Capt J Shane Long.

4. Whoever wrote the obit really made it easy. Thank you and condolences.

5. From there it wasn't hard to find Jonathan Shane Long, who was employed by @piedmontair, which is owned by @AmericanAir.

6. Shane's location is hard to pin down because it appears he has moved regularly, but the Mid-Atlantic is his main stomping ground.

8. In 2013 Matthew Heimbach attempted to start a "White Student Union at Towson University.

9. Vice made a documentary about it and "Shayne", who was Chairman of the Maryland League of the South" was there supporting Heimbach.

10. At one point in the video Jonathan Shane Long says a prayer for Heimbach then goes with him on a patrol looking for crime. The implication in the documentary was that it's minority crime they're hunting for.

18. On November 9, 2017 he was invited to their member chat.

19. Shane was a leader in the League of the South and a member of Identity Dixie. That's two hate groups.

"Maybe he no longer associates with racists" you might say.

22. Andrew Tracey lead the Tampa area League of the South. He's extremely racist.

23. Christopher CM is Christopher Monzon. He has a long history of racism and affiliation with League of the South.
