It is the ultimate expression of patriarchal ideology, it is the notion that a gay or effeminate man cannot just exist that way and be accepted, they must actually be a woman trapped in a male body.
It was the Tories who first brought the concept of 'Self ID' to parliament. 2/

Then promptly abandoned it, but not b4 creating yet another divide amongst 'the left' which imploded arguing over the idea of allowing males to elbow their way into female spaces & provisions. Tories knew their voter base didn't care. Trans theory is a tool to divide the left. 3/

#LiaThomas competing in a women's swimming event reminded the world how farcical this debate has gotten. Protect the feelings of one deluded male to the detriment of fairness for women. A man ranked 431st in the world as a male swimmer suddenly setting records against women. 4/

And now a closet cross dressing MP who feared pictures of his kink would be leaked has decided to invoke trans theory to avoid shame & excommunication.
Trans theory is always based around fhe wants of MALE humans, because it is primarily a men's rights movement. 5/

Male rapists being allowed into female prisons, men being given access to female safe spaces, men being afforded an unquestionable right to dominate and abuse females.
No female to male athletes will EVER make headlines like Lia Thomas. They will never break male records. 6/

Of course we should be sympathetic & non judgemental towards people who genuinely feel they have gender dysphoria, a psychological condition caused by rigid societal gender norms that make some people feel out of place. But laws to deny sex based rights are based on a lie. 7/

Fix the problem of gender norms, allow free expression, cultivate a loving, supportive and creative culture, and trans theory will become redundant. With nothing to prevent free expression, reality-denying laws and #Mermaids style indoctrination become obsolete. 8/

If Lia Thomas knew his subjective experience of himself was not defined by his physicality, he could happily continue to compete against other males, on a level playing field, & express himself freely without contradiction. 9/

Now we have a right wing Tory MP (who's voted against human rights, against social provisions, & for divisive policy) beating "the left" to the accolade of being the first aspiring "trans" MP, can we drop the idea that trans theory is progressive in any way shape or form? 10/
