Tonight's Russian MOD briefing Image
"Russian air defense forces near ODESSA shot down a Ukrainian military transport aircraft that was delivering a large shipment of weapons supplied to Ukraine by Western countries."
"The entire city area of MARIUPOL has been completely cleared of fighters of the Nazi formation Azov, foreign mercenaries and Ukrainian troops.

The remnants of the Ukrainian group are now completely encircled on the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical plant."

From this morning's Russian MOD briefing:

- The Illich Steel and Iron Works in Mariupol are under full Russian control (i.e. the northern pocket in Mariupol has been fully liquidated)

- A Ukrainian Su-27 has been shot down in Kharkov oblast
- On the Izyum front in Kharkov oblast, a detachment of up to 30 mercenaries from a Polish PMC was liquidated

- One of the Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters that attacked civilians in Bryansk oblast was shot down by an S-400 in Chernigov oblast
- The number and scale of missile attacks on facilities in Kiev will increase in response to Kiev forces committing sabotage on Russian territory

Seeing reports of powerful explosions in Kiev.
Blackouts reported in parts of the city; looks like strikes against infrastructure targets.
Explosions also being reported from other places in Kiev oblast, e.g. Belaya Tserkov.

So, not sunk. Reasons for the fire/explosions still not clear.
I deleted the previous iteration of this tweet but there are now several unconfirmed reports claiming that the Moskva has arrived at the port of Sevastopol, allegedly on its own. Waiting for visual confirmation, I guess. I'll keep you updated
Well, that didn't last long - MOD says the "Moskva" lost its stability due to sustained hull damage & then sank due to storm weather while en route to its port of destination (Sevastopol, I guess).

Reports coming in that the AFU fired at the small town of Klimovo in Bryansk Oblast (~10km north of the Ukrainian border) Image
7 people, including a pregnant woman and a child, were injured as a result of shelling in the Klimovka district of the Bryansk region, a representative of the emergency department of the Klimovka central district hospital told TASS.
Investigative Committee of Russia: "Using two attack helicopters equipped with heavy offensive weapons, AFU soldiers illegally entered Russian airspace. At low altitude, acting deliberately, they carried out at least 6 airstrikes on civilian buildings in the village of Klimovo."

It is said that the floating church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker took the blows of five severe storms, but was never damaged and always returned to its home port of Astrakhan. This ship sailed the Caspian Sea & was the only full-fledged floating church in the Russian Empire. Image
The paddle steamer featured a whole parish complex: the church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker for five hundred parishioners, icon and candle shops, a pharmacy and even a small hospital for the sick.
The first voyage of the floating church occurred in September 1910 with the blessing of Bishop Georgiy (Orlov) of Astrakhan. The church was entrusted with the implementation of an important spiritual task.
