While largely ignored in the media, there's been a massive wave of walkouts, protests, and self-organized student actions over the past month.
Last Tuesday, "Disney employees and their allies staged a walkout from various departments and products to protest the company’s donations to the Republican legislators behind Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill."

Last Friday, hundreds of high school students in New Orleans, Louisiana, walked out of school against a variety of proposed anti-LGBTQ bills. nola.com/gambit/news/th…

Kelly and Jake Neidert are leading members of the Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT) which has been central in pushing campaigns targeting the LGBTQ+ community and trans people in particular. Kelly has openly identified as a "Christian fascist."
Kelly + Jake Neidert's anti-trans activism on campus caught the eye of white nationalist and former Proud Boys attorney Jason Van Dyke, who has a long history of involvement in far-Right and white supremacist politics.

King is serving 10 years for attempting to damage a congressional office building in Kansas City in solidarity with the Ferguson Uprising in 2014. King only has three more years to go before his release, but now faces an extra 20 plus possible years. Image

Far-Right troll Andy Ngo's bullshit claims online + in the NY Post that his event was shut down due to "bomb threats," has been debunked by Dartmouth's own spokesperson who states there were “no bomb threats" + sniffing dogs were "standard procedure." thedartmouth.com/article/2022/0…
In the NY Post, Andy Ngo, known for pushing disinformation, wrote on January 24th, "To be sure, the threats against myself, Nadales and prospective attendees were concerning. Local law enforcement had to clear Moore Hall with a bomb squad and dogs before I arrived."
The next day in @thedartmouth, the campus spokesperson Diana Lawrence wrote a statement there were “no bomb threats,” but state police conducted a routine sweep of the venue. “This is standard procedure and is not initiated because of specific information,” she wrote.
