Yerasyl #Kalykul, 25, was shot in the abdomen on 5 January during protests in Shymkent, and died as a result of his gunshot wound. His parents did not know that their son had left home,

On the night of 5 to 6 of January, Yerasyl's parents learned that he had been admitted to a hospital, so they went to the hospital. The hospital was receiving wounded people.@margarethodge@PACE_President@taxinparliament

Civil activist Kaliakar #AMRENOV reports that on 20 March 2022, investigator of Anti-Corruption Agency in Pavlodar region named #TAUKEL D.S. closed the criminal case against the police officers from Ekibastuz on Article 146 Part 2 (torture). @EU_Commission@hrw
