Or the way SM treated the whole of F(x) for the longest time (if you know, you know). A lot of this sh*t can mentally f*ck up someone both personally and creatively. An unhealthy environment will breed unhealthy people and a lack of flexibility in a creative environment+

Is a good way to kill creative people and when you put bad people in an environment that promotes all kinds of terrible mental f*ckery aint no way that that person is gonna change for the better. Especially when their peers and their superiors are out here encouraging and +

Facilitating those unhealthy habits and behaviors or are providing no outlets to vent out or ways to even improve themselves healthily (both artistically or as human beings). And then add the pressure of the public to that and the millions of you who blindly keep them on +

Pedestals when the unhealthy behaviour or bad behavior is unveiled. You make excuses for them, turn these behaviors into kinks, and you go on swallowing the pills that these agencies supply to further keep you supporting the bs. This includes some of the sh*tty music and sloppy+

Performances that some of these so called Gods of the korean pop industry have put out. And you get angry when others call you out on it and on your illogical behaviors. I'm gonna repeat it again, there is a fundamental difference between your faves and BTS, from the beginning+

These boys have always been the concept. Not the other way around. And they've maintained that, and Big hit made sure to protect their essence as artists and as people regardless of the risk and as a result these boys creativity continued to grow along with their contributions +

To music and society, as artists and as human beings. Because all of it came from a different place altogether. Not only do they not fit in a genre, they also do not fit in a box and imo and the opinion of most armys (idk about bts fans) this makes the music and our enjoyment +

Of it 10x-30x better than other groups and a lot of other artists out there. Because we can connect to both the art and the artist. We trust the music. We trust the artists. We understand the process and have had the privilege of witnessing the growth and changes.+

Does it mean We don't know about BTS Mistakes? Does it mean we are blind to their faults and their missteps and are unable to recognize those mistakes and those faults for what they are? Absolutely not! And this is the point I was trying to make from the beginning and emphasize+

ARMYS (I'm not talking about BTS fans), I'm talking about armys (new or old, veteran or babies), one of the most important part of being a part of this fandom is to learn about the history of the boys, we have series, videos, documents, dedicated to that history and it includes+

The supposed bad things that they boys have done. We do not shy away from having conversations about these things (although opinions may differ) there is a very common consensus that these boys have more than grown past these mistakes but tried their best to make up for them+

And have successfully shown us all that people can grow and that makes all the difference. And these boys actively embrace their past selves and talk about all of these mistakes, they come to us when they f*ck up or when they have it hard and they tell us about it, they +

Put it in their songs, and expose themselves in their lyrics. Their art and their music revolves around their lives and their vulnerability and themselves as human beings which is why it's all so cohesive and resonates so much with so many people. So when other ignorant assholes+

My criticism is not really about the music. I listen to western music just fine, I have nothing against the music when it's good sonically most of the time I don't even listen to the lyrics of most artists. I have very few artists that I pay special attention to and BTS is #1+

My criticism is about the way yall wanna dismiss, put down, and hate on BTS and ARMY using reasons like BTS is racist over hairstyles back in 2012-2013 and such when your faves was still pulling sh*t like this in 2016-2017 and throughout their careers+

Yall scream misogyny over lyrics that speak about the hormonal war going on in a teenaged boys head, and other lyrics they even apologized about (imo unnecessarily) when you have stuff like this but not apology and no explanation +

But when you start taking your excitement and poking at us who minding our own business and also failing to read the room and acting illogically when people tell you how wrong you are. When you refuse to admit your wrongs and insist on the same old patterns and play the victim+
