I moved from Cappadocia to #Konya by bus & after 271km I reached there. It was always my dream to visit Konya, the city of #Rumi (Mevlana)& his mausoleum,one of the most popular Iranian poets & sufis & the tomb of him & his disciples.1/3

I moved from Cappadocia to #Konya by bus & after 271km I reached there. It was always my dream to visit Konya, the city of #Rumi (Mevlana)& his mausoleum,one of the most popular Iranian poets & sufis & the tomb of him & his disciples.1/3
Konya is the most religious city in Turkey & it's obligatory to wear hijab to enter the mausoleum.I saw a large crowd at the Rumi Cultural Center & many people were praying in each corner Inside it.Sema whirling dervish ceremony take place at the Rumi Cultural Center,yearly. 2/3
On my way to Konya, I stopped in #Sultanhani town & visited Sultanhan caravanserai located 40km west of #Aksaray. A great style of Seljuk architecture.
After Sultanhani & Konya,I moving on to Karahayit, Pamukkale & other cities that amazed me more. Will write about them soon. 3/3
