1) Whatever is happening at the apex court is so laughable. Like there is desperate attempt to sanction something which cannot be. Problem is precedent. Once IK goes free, a dangerous precedent will be set & any speaker in future can dismiss membership even without consequences..
2) But it is not merely "establishment" which is enabling this..The "real" support comes from his intellectually bankrupt supporters whose entire vocabulary is just "chor daku loteray and loot maar". They don't care and just want IK on some imaginary honesty..
3) Of course their manic support finds its justification in Opposition's own shady tactics..though fails to take into account the magnitude of this violation here. IK is the embodiment of what is everything wrong with our self righteous urban middle class which has been fed...
4) .. the fairly tales of " we are a great nation, only if we had single "honest" strongman". For this generation of these middle class urbanities, IK is that guy and they are ready to support and justify ANY thing he does through whataboutery and "If not IK, then who?" logic.
5) No, it is not merely so called "establishment", much more than them, IK has the support of a section in society which is numerically weak but in essence extremely strong due to their disproportionate representation in media, Judiciary, civil services and of course military..
6) They hate democracy as "jahils" can vote also..Want "rule of law" as long as it suits their purposes... Ready to support violations of law, for their imagined "rule of law"... Want an "educated" dictatorship and actually believe the nonsense, that they are "special" and...
7) if only they had an "honest" dictator ( like IK), we would be on path of glory and become another Singapore...

1. With respect to #khalilurrehmanqamar, it is not a one off incident but a pattern of behavior. I am aware that many in our society ( mostly men but a few women also) are supportive of his third rated, misogynistic regressive views.
2. #MeraJismMeriMarzi is not about obscenity but about women having autonomy over their bodies. It is a fundamental right that no woman should be violated physically including in marriage. She has the reproductive rights as it is her who is going to go through child birth
3. However, in our sexually frustrated society ( ironically which once topped in searching for porn), somehow asking for control over their own bodies is synonymous to having sex in the streets.

1. There are 3 stages which supposedly educated go through before they become endorsers of bigotry.
First stage is denial. U say that it is propaganda. In reality, everything is fine. Just a few sporadic incidents blown out of proportion by anti state elements and "biased" media
2. Second stage starts, when incidents start becoming more routine and it is therefore impossible to call them "sporadic". This is called whataboutery stage. Where, you start accusing those who are pointing towards a problem as indulging in selective outrage...
3. Typically, it goes like this: Why can't you say a word against "their" excesses... All your energies are just to demonize us.

1. Now that the supposed “game changer” of huge oil reserves has proven to been another farce, PTI government is under a lot of criticism.
2. Some PTI supporters are getting angry at the critics accusing them of feeling pleasure in Imran Khan’s failure whereas in reality the country has lost. They are wrong as I think critics are justified in attacking and mocking PTI government
3. The problem is that maturity demands that one does not raise hopes in a hyperbolic way before actual discovery. PTI government itself framed it as game changer and raised hopes to an unprecedented levels.

1, Before the 2018 elections PTI supporters' most touted reason f “honesty” of Imran. Literally, all PTI supporters with whom I interacted in those days on social media as well as real life, constantly cited his honesty as the reason, as to why Pakistan should give Imran a chance
2. It also became the main “defense” of Imran, by his supporters against severe criticism on his various reactionary stances of the past. “At least, he is not corrupt” became the defense, when everything else failed.
3. In order to convince the skeptics, the party as well as its supporters, came up with a narrative that tried to rationalize as to how having an honest leader would bring material change in key areas of the economy through following manner
