My Blades in the Dark group has created a bunch of new lore about demons.

Here's a summary of what we've invented in case you want to use it in your own campaign!

One thing I love about BitD is how it gives just enough info to spark creativity. There are many names and places mentioned, but few are discussed in great detail, which allows you to fill in the gaps with your own inventions.

We took the demons in BitD and ran with them.

There's a table in the book for demon desires. In our campaign, each demon is a representation of one of these desires.

Also, only one demon exists per desire. For example, only one Control demon exists at any given time.

That means there are 18 total demons in the world.

Last night in our Blades in the Dark campaign, the PCs managed to turn a demon back into a human.

As a running joke I said if this ever happened I'd roll a d12 to determine his human height (5'4" + 1d12 inches)

I rolled a 12. The game was forgotten for like 10 minutes.

For those following, this was not the love of a PCs life who was turned into a demon.

During the session, 2 demons fell and 2 humans ascended (descended?) to demonhood in their place.

We've actually developed a lot of really fun lore about demons for our BitD campaign, if anyone wants to hear about it I'll make a thread later
