The BBS Kendrew Doctoral Thesis Prize will be presented to Dr Ália dos Santos @AliaCSantos for her work in applying advanced microscopy & cell mechanics assays to the study of genome organisation & transcriptional regulation. Ália will present a lecture on her work on 1 Jul 2022.
The BBS Louise Johnson Early Career Award will be presented to Prof Pola Goldberg Oppenheimer for outstanding contributions to unconventional lithographic micronano-structuring of functional biomaterials & devices for optical nano-spectroscopy. Pola will talk at the BBS Biennial.
The BBS Sosei Heptares Prize for Biophysics will be presented to Professor @PhilippKukura in recognition of his work on the development & impact of mass photometry. Philipp will present a lecture on his work at 12:10 on 1 Jul 2022.
The BBS Elspeth Garman Prize for Public Engagement will be presented to Prof Lorna @DouganGroup for her pioneering work in developing & delivering creative public engagement resources to diverse communities. Lorna will present a public lecture on her work at 13:30 on 1 Jul 2022.
