I don't understand the critics of coloniality. Do they think that coloniality doesn't exist or is good for society or speaking about it will do bad?
If it's 3, then they are behaving with same the colonial conditioning...

To criticize our own OETs while take the external OETs at face value. Similar to the 'White man's burden' we do have a similar equivalent acronym from the colonised POV in Tamil, i.e. 'Vellaikaran Poi Solla Maattaan' or 'White man won't lie'

If it's 1 or 2, I see many examples where coloniality is plaguing the society
I'm as concerned as how we would decolonialize our society without giving undue advantage to a single community/demography. But I don't understand the problem in acknowledging coloniality.

Denying it is a sin we commit on ourselves, our foreparents and our future generations
Ex.1 Why is corruption rampant in our government entities?

Is't coz it was designed to promote the interests of the colonial master and not to serve the people?
Ever wondered why the govt officers behave as lords in India while the equivalent officers in west are actually serving people?
5/n
Coz our governing structure was designed (primarily in ME coloniality and repurposed by English coloniality) to instill fear, stall progress and ensure people are reliant or at the mercy of then British officers

In fact the three pillars of the democracy - administrative, judicial, legislature all three were actually legs of the chair on which the colonial master was seated. Now instead of the colonial master we are choosing indigenous masters...

who even if good intentioned to begin with will inherit the attitude of the colonial master, because the structural design of these systems
Why are we still carrying this legacy?
