1/ 🧵 on one of the project that I am truly excited for: @ProjectEuropa_

This is an overview and my thoughts on the project.

2/ Project Europa seeks to bring the best parts of all previous projects and combine it with what the team believes is the best way forward. They have unique ways of controlling the number of collectors(nodes) being made alongside a cooldown mechanism to alleviate sell pressure.

3/ What truly differentiates @ProjecEuropa_ is the fact that they choose to gamify the whole user experience by having an interactive mini games in the protocol which allows you to interact with the protocol instead of just hitting the claim button everyday.

4/ You get the choice to dress up your character/avatar, play mini games and gain levels. The more you interact with the dApp, the more you will be rewarded. There is a strong focus on the user's experience and this in itself is a strong differentiation.

5/ To start, you will need to have a Project Europa NFT which grants access to the protocol. After you have the NFT, there are three tiers collectors to purchase:
- Stardust (Tier1) 10 $ORBIT
- Asteroid (Tier2) 10 Tier 1s or 175 $ORBIT
- Planet (Tier3) 50 Tier 2s or 12500 $ORBIT

6/ Here are the reward generated per day:
- Stardust: 0.075 $ORBIT (133 Days ROI)
- Asteroid: 0.9 $ORBIT (195 Days ROI)
- Planet: 55 $ORBIT (228 Days ROI)

** ROI is based on outright buys and rounded up to nearest day.

7/ A note: 100 $Orbit creates 10 Tier 1s but 175 $ORBIT for a T2? 75 $ORBIT more, why?
The reason is there is a tax of 75 $ORBIT

Taxes for direct buy:
- T2: 42% tax/75 $ORBIT
- T3: 48% tax/4700 $ORBIT

** tax is calculated based on T1 compounding prices vs direct buy price

8/ There are cooldowns for Collector Creation (Node creation):
- Node creation:Once every 12 hours
- Merging:
1. 10 x T1s to 1 T2s (32 hours)
2. 50 x T2s to 1 T3 (190 hours)

OMG wouldn't it take forever to get to a Planet collector?
Well, yes and no.

9/ You have two options:
1. You can choose to pay 0.75 $Orbit for each hour you want to reduce your cooldown by. For example, to skip the cooldown from a T2 Merge, you will need 0.75 $Orbit multiplied by 32 hours which is 24 $Orbit for you to not wait at all.

10/ 2. You can purchase NFT boosters which provides:
- Cool downs reduction % based
- Bonus rewards % based
- Discount on new collector % based

But can't i just get all of the boosters you ask?

11/ Yes and no. The NFT boosters are wearables for your in app Character. What that means is that if you have two boosters that belong in the "head" category, you have to pick one.

Besides earning more rewards, you can aim to let your characters look better. 👀

13/ What i love about @ProjectEuropa_ :
The Team. From Joe to Orlando to Kayne to Barbara and to Chris, they are all fully doxxed. Some of them even quit high paying jobs to focus on doing Europa full time. Any VC will tell you that the team makes or break the project.

14/ This is the exact reason i am bullish on Europa.I believe node Projects are like startup kickstarters. Commitment and Competency in the team is a must for VC firms invest. I see both of these in the team.
Remember, good idea is worth a dollar, good execution is worth millions

15/ Their community is absolutely fantastic and fun. I chanced upon Europa during their charity giveaway and it inspired me to do more. Although WL was closed but i kept going back because it was fun and it feels like home where you can hang out with friends.

16/ However, I never believed in forever rewards. Seems too good to be true. IMO, It is not sustainable.There is no such thing as pay $20 now and you get $0.20 the rest of your life.The cooldown mechanic in essence buys you a runway and you are simply extending your runway.

17/ So the no tapering of rewards is a con for me.That's the problem with most node protocols that provides unsustainable APYs and why i believe 90% of these projects will go to 0. Token utility is a must and the token can't be used just for selling and create nodes.

18/ I spoke to @Nanooooooo15 previously and he mentioned that there is a bigger vision for Europa and their goal is to create more token utility.Seeing the changes in the WP from 6900 $Orbit to 9700 $Orbit to 12500 $Orbit shows me that Europa is fair and it is reassuring.

19/ Remember, when you are investing, you are investing in the team. If you are in it for a quick buck, can i suggest titano forks with insane APYs. If you truly believe in making passive income over time and believe like me that @ProjectEuropa_ is GMI, DYOR anyways.
