#plotja (fem kdj btw) under the oak tree au, sp as riftan and kdj as maximilian / maxi. kdj has always been the type of girl that preferred reading than socializing and hosting tea parties, always alone, always distant.

her father found it an eyesore and merely -

- arranged her in a marriage with sp. he didnt care about her fate, he just wanted his defective daughter away from him.

so fast forward to kdj finally meeting her husband; it went to a interesting direction.

at first, she exhibited overly polite behavior, sp had -

- zero patience for it, but he was interested in prying a different side of his wife; rumors of her wit and snark reached his ears.

he wanted to see that woman, the one he fell in love with.

not this one, controlled by her father and unable to protest.

so they work thru -

- it, kdj travels with sp to his castle and she slowly opens up under his careful pampering.

at first, kdj was unsure until she fell in love with sp and sp came to love her even more, unable to see any other woman unless it was kdj.

kdj learns the castle's secrets -

- and she becomes the true lady, renovating things and being taught how to manage it.

sp deals with some tasks here and there but ultimately comes back to his wife.

overall, it's a tale of romance that gradually strengthens altho sp is a bit too obsessed with his wife

- but it works out in the end.

kdj is free from her father and sp learns to socialize properly without being too blunt, especially in the presence of his wife.

its a tale of wounds being healed as love helps mend the bridges.

its a tale under the oak tree kdj helps nurture.
