BAT on Osinbajo
In 2012, at the launching of a book,
“Contemporary issues in Nigerian constitutional law,” a series of essays compiled in honour of Osinbajo, said that but for Osinbajo, his political career would have nosedived.
According to him: “The capability and firmness
of Osinbajo in my time of travail made me to triumph against every plan by my detractors to destroy my image and career.”
Tinubu said that “he would have been nailed for the offence he did not commit if Osinbajo was not available to defend him”
Osinbajo brought his knowledge of constitutional law and stood by me even at the time when some of my commissioners were planning to resign from the cabinet. He indulged my politics and allowed it to flourish in the face of detractors,” he said. He added that Osinbajo was the
best decision he ever made in his political career, describing him as the biggest weapon in his political armoury. Osinbajo encouraged me to create 37 Local Council Development Areas with his astounding knowledge of constitutional law. I could challenge the Federal Government
because of the capability of the professor of law,” Tinubu said.
Comment: You don’t know where these two people are coming from, you don’t know what they have done together, your understanding of their relationship is poor, you will be left alone very soon.

Let us now be serious,it is BAT that actually need this kind of consultation,PYO is a sitting Vice President, his job is consulting every hour. He meets Governors regularly at the level of NEC,meet religious leaders at the level of NIRECON,meets with the business communities at
at the meetingsof NESG,meets with religious leaders on every official tours to states,he chairs many national and regional committees, meet with military leadership on a statutory basis. Every member of this group has had the opportunity of assessing his capacity and have made
favorable recommendations. Whoever BAT is swing today,PYO has met them 20 times over and have more time in discussions with them. Governors who want to support him have made up their minds, those who won’t have decided, you also have some undecided. The states without Governors
2023: BETWEEN BUHARISTS & BATISTS.
Looking ahead at 2023 and the way APC activists have driven the support for the present government,i had began to dream that the 2023 candidate selection process will be pushed along ideological camps. I was looking forward to a debate between
those who want a continuation of Buhari social democratic agenda and Tinubu’s centrist political philosophy.I was looking forward to a campaign between Buharists who abhor negotiation with the rogue elites and Tinubu who want to do his job and as well cut a deal with these class.
I was thinking BATISTS would go ahead, mobilize public opinion on Asiwaju’s record as a pro-democracy activist while Buharists will hinge their campaign on anti-corruption and integrity in governance.I thought Buharists will insist that he endorse a successor just like Asiwaju.
Biafra is a dot nation, they can’t do nothing about it. It can only be a Lesotho of WA.Those imagining an eldorado called Biafra will keep getting disappointed if each time they join the unwilling minority around their borders. It killed Biafra in 1967,it will kill it at anytime.
A Biafra that has access to the sea and is multi-ethnic is not achievable. It can only be a Lesotho of Igbo people, but what is wrong with being a dot nation? stay in your country and pay for access to the sea, become immigrants in the Zoo nation. But the zoo will only take people
with the right skills: doctors, engineers, teachers those with money to invest like Coscharis. No one will offer you visa because you can sell handkerchiefs by roundabouts or fake car charges along the highway. You will pay property tax and have limited right like other migrants.
The challenge we have with many of you who live in the abroad is that you deliberate lie to our people at home, you exploit their ignorance and cause despondency among your family and friends. How much is an ambulance ride in the America? Is it free? Have you used one before now?
Now let us see where you live in Canada: Ontario is $45,so when you come here to say there is no ambulance service, you should have said there is no ambulance business. You guys gave Nigerians the impression that those Canadians who were evacuated from Nigeria during COVID-19!
Two shoe shiners arrived a city, found out no one wore shoes, one said oh ‘they don’t wear shoes here, there won’t be business’ and left, the other one said these people have not seen shoes before and he went to Aba and brought shoes to sell. One became rich, the other die poor.
Millions of Nigerian youth, many of them from struggling parents, voted 900m times, contributed N7.2b for a South African company. The South African company removed N90m, gave it to one of them, took the balance of N6.3b, converted it to USD and took it to Jo’burg. See sense?
This is the irony, while the “educated-merit” Southern youths are using their votes to make just one of them a ‘celebrity’ the ‘quota-system’ Northern youth is preserving his Vote to put a man of his choice in power.Days after the election those who elected idiots as celebrities
ask the celebrities to remove the elected leader from power or they will secede. When you try this nonsense, the elected man who swore to protect the constitution ask the security forces to take you off the streets, then you call America but America didn’t make you fools.
My first time in Aba was in 1996,It was in Ariara market and I marveled about the creativity of the average Igbo man after 3 hours. In December that year I spent both my Christmas and New Year at Nsugbe a few kilometers from Onitsha. That could easily pass for my best Christmas.
That year I was supplying, together with my friend, empty children syrup bottles to a shoe dye company in Onitsha. I spent quite a lot of time studying the business acumen of the Igbo,I walked across major streets of Onitsha and saw buildings 🤭 I nearly settle down in Onitsha.
The Igbo man can copy and produce anything, they can easily pass for our own Taiwan or Chinese and they have benefited so greatly from a greater Nigeria. 50 years before 1967,they built wealth and homes that was destroyed by the useless war and as they claimed, they got £20 each.
