We took a pic of all the editors @HolidayHouseBks for my #SCBWI talk in Oklahoma on Friday. @NealPorterBooks and his assistant, Drew, were in a meeting tho', so I took their picture later. Here is the predictive text and design Powerpoint created for the photo. No comment.

The original idea for the photo was, we were going to hold up one of Margaret's books, since she wasn't in today. It would represent her. Then we got into the idea of posing with titles we were proud of. And books are good for hiding body parts you might be self-conscious about.
Now we're worried (because we sort of grabbed books and got this done in about 90 seconds) that some beloved author won't see their book there. We didn't mean to leave anyone out! We were trying to capture the editors, that was the point.
