In November 2019, @pritipatel was investigated for bullying officials and found to have broken the code by the independent advisor. #JohnsonOut85 ignored the findings and kept her.

The advisor resigned in protest.

In April 2021, Johnson hired a new independent advisor, Lord Geidt, because he needed be be investigated himself over potential breaches of the #MinisterialCode over a funds for favours scandal regarding his Downing Street flat refurb and golden wall paper.

Lord Geidt, the ‘independent’ advisor hired by Johnson to investigate Johnson, was happy with this version of events and found there to have been no breach of the #MinisterialCode.

The electoral commission found otherwise and fined the Tories £17,800.

Lord Geidt also threatened to quit as ‘independent’ advisor as well, but still remains in the post with #JohnsonOut85 promising* extra powers.

Despite new evidence being made public, Johnson currently has no plans to reopen an investigation into himself.
